We (All You Awesome Supporters, Family, & Friends) are coming together to raise awareness for melanoma. Melanoma is a tumor of melanin-forming cells, typically a malignant tumor associated with skin cancer. Every hour of every day someone in the United States dies from melanoma. My brother Brendan was diagnosed with melanoma a few years back and successfully battled the disease. He consulted the Melanoma Research Foundation for knowledge and advice. That being said, it’s time to raise awareness and advocate the Cause.
The NOMA Coast 2 Coast journey entailing ~ 4,000 miles of riding commenced Friday October 11, 2013 with a ride over the Golden Gate Bridge. I jumped in the Pacific, rode across the country, took a dip in the Gulf of Mexico, and swam in the Atlantic before venturing home to Easton, PA in time to visit family and friends for the Thanksgiving holiday season. While on tour, I updated a daily journal with happenings and pictures, while educating others about one of the fastest growing cancers in the United States and worldwide.
Check out the venture and join the Cause, it’s a good one!
